Inspired by the innovative use of materials that allowed 18th Century clockmaker’s to construct the first accurate marine chronometers. The hard wood Lignum Vitae (also known as the Tree of Life) was the only wood that would withstand corrosion on the seas for long periods so was used in place of metal to create clocks for ships.
When cut, this incredible hard wood releases the most amazing aroma of sweet, spice – almost like a desert. This fragrance recreates the scent that this wood releases, whilst playing with the contrasts in notes.

Middle Notes: Juniper Berry, Ginger, Lime. Base Notes: Lignum Vitae Wood Accord, Buttery Accord, Sea Salt Accord.
